Ingredients

2 pounds kielbasa (or smoked sausage), sliced into bite-sized pieces

1 cup honey

1/2 cup Dijon mustard

1/4 cup apple cider vinegar

1 tablespoon soy sauce

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon black pepper

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional, for a bit of heat)

Chopped green onions (for garnish)

Toothpicks (for serving)

Instructions

Prepare the Sauce: In a bowl, whisk together honey, Dijon mustard, apple cider vinegar, soy sauce, minced garlic, black pepper, smoked paprika, and cayenne pepper until well combined.

Layer the Ingredients: Place the sliced kielbasa in the slow cooker, evenly spreading it out.

Add the Sauce: Pour the prepared honey mustard sauce over the kielbasa, ensuring all pieces are well coated.

Cook the Kielbasa: Cover the slow cooker and set it to low heat. Cook for 4-6 hours, or until the kielbasa is heated through and flavors are melded.

Stir Occasionally: If possible, stir the kielbasa bites halfway through cooking to ensure they are evenly coated in the sauce.

Garnish and Serve: Once finished, use a slotted spoon to transfer the kielbasa bites to a serving platter. Drizzle with additional sauce from the slow cooker if desired and sprinkle with chopped green onions for garnish. Serve warm with toothpicks for easy eating.
