  • 3 tablespoons gelatin powder unflavored
  • 1 cup water for mixing the gelatin
  • 1 tablespoon magnesium citrate powder for the sleep-enhancing benefit
  • 1/4 teaspoon sea salt to balance the flavors
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice freshly squeezed, for acidity

Instructions
 

  • In a small bowl, mix the gelatin powder with 1/2 cup of water and let it bloom for about 5 minutes until it thickens.
  • In a saucepan, combine the remaining 1/2 cup of water, tart cherry juice, honey, and lemon juice. Heat on medium until just simmering.
  • Remove the saucepan from the heat and slowly whisk in the bloomed gelatin mixture until completely dissolved.
  • Add the magnesium citrate powder and sea salt, stirring well to incorporate all ingredients thoroughly.
  • Lightly grease your gummy molds with cooking spray, then carefully pour the mixture into the molds.
  • Place the molds in the refrigerator and let them set for at least 20 minutes until firm.
  • Once set, carefully remove the gummies from the molds and store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
