  • 1 cup kataifi pastry thawed
  • 1/2 cup shelled pistachios finely chopped
  • 1 cup dark chocolate chopped
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 1/4 cup honey for sweetness
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt to enhance flavor

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Spread the kataifi pastry evenly on a baking sheet and lightly drizzle with melted butter. Bake for 10-12 minutes until golden and crispy, stirring halfway through for even browning.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the finely chopped pistachios, melted butter, honey, vanilla extract, and salt. Mix well to create a sticky filling for the kataifi.
  • Once the kataifi is baked and cooled slightly, take small portions and flatten them out in your hand. Place a spoonful of the pistachio mixture in the center, then fold the kataifi around it to form a ball. Repeat until all filling is used.
  • Melt the dark chocolate in a double boiler or microwave until smooth. Dip each kataifi ball in the melted chocolate, ensuring they are fully coated, then place them on parchment paper to set.
