Ingredients

1 boneless turkey breast (about 3-4 pounds)

4 cloves garlic, minced

2 tablespoons fresh rosemary, chopped

2 tablespoons fresh thyme, chopped

2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 tablespoon lemon juice

1 teaspoon salt

½ teaspoon black pepper

1 cup chicken broth

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

Prepare the Marinade: In a small bowl, combine minced garlic, rosemary, thyme, parsley, olive oil, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Mix well to create a flavorful herb paste.

Prepare the Turkey: Pat the turkey breast dry with paper towels. This will help make the skin crispy.

Marinate the Turkey: Rub the herb paste all over the turkey breast, making sure to get it under the skin for maximum flavor. Allow it to marinate for at least 30 minutes at room temperature (or overnight in the refrigerator for a deeper flavor).

Sear the Turkey (Optional): For extra flavor and a golden crust, heat a large, oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Add a little olive oil and sear the turkey breast for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.

Add Broth: Pour the chicken broth into the skillet (or a roasting pan if using one). This will keep the turkey moist and create a delicious base for gravy.

Roast the Turkey: Transfer the skillet or pan to the preheated oven. Roast the turkey for about 1.5 to 2 hours, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C). Baste the turkey occasionally with the pan juices.

Rest the Turkey: Once done, remove the turkey from the oven and let it rest for at least 15 minutes before slicing. This helps retain the juices within the meat.

Serve: Slice the turkey breast and serve with your favorite sides. Drizzle with pan juices for added flavor.
