Ingredients

4 ripe peaches, pitted and sliced

1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (about 4-6 lemons)

1 cup granulated sugar (adjust to taste)

4 cups cold water

Ice cubes

Fresh mint leaves, for garnish

Lemon slices, for garnish

Instructions

In a blender, combine the sliced peaches and 1 cup of cold water. Blend until smooth to create a peach puree.

Strain the peach puree through a fine mesh sieve into a large pitcher to remove the pulp and any fibers. Use the back of a spoon to press the puree through if necessary.

Add the freshly squeezed lemon juice and sugar to the peach juice in the pitcher. Stir well until the sugar is completely dissolved.

Pour in the remaining 3 cups of cold water. Taste and adjust the sweetness by adding more sugar if desired.

Chill the peach lemonade in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.

Serve the lemonade over ice cubes in glasses, garnishing each with fresh mint leaves and a lemon slice for a refreshing touch.
