1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs

⅓ cup granulated sugar

½ cup unsalted butter, melted

4 cups (1 quart) of your favorite ice cream, softened (choose one or a mix!)

1 cup whipped cream, plus more for topping

½ cup chocolate sauce or fruit sauce for drizzling

Optional: crushed nuts, chocolate chips, or sprinkles for garnish

Instructions
 

Prepare the Crust: In a mixing bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter. Mix until the crumbs are well coated and resemble wet sand.

    Form the Base: Press the crumb mixture evenly into the bottom and up the sides of a 9-inch pie dish. Use the back of a measuring cup or your fingers to pack it tightly. Refrigerate while preparing the filling.

      Make the Ice Cream Filling: In a large bowl, mix the softened ice cream with 1 cup of whipped cream until well blended. This adds lightness to the filling.

        Fill the Pie Crust: Spoon the ice cream mixture into the prepared crust, smoothing the top with a spatula. Drizzle some chocolate or fruit sauce on top, if desired.

          Freeze the Pie: Cover the pie with plastic wrap and freeze for at least 4 hours or until firm.

            Serve: Remove the pie from the freezer and let it sit at room temperature for about 5-10 minutes before slicing. Top with additional whipped cream, and add crushed nuts, chocolate chips, or sprinkles for extra flair. Drizzle with more sauce before serving, if desired.
