Marry Me Pork Chops

This marry me pork chops is a simple dinner recipe made with everyday ingredients. Perfect for busy days and family meals.

Ingredients

4 bone-in pork chops (about 1 inch thick)

Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 tablespoon unsalted butter

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup heavy cream

1 teaspoon Dijon mustard

1 teaspoon dried thyme

1 teaspoon dried rosemary

½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Lemon wedges (for serving)

Instructions

Prepare the Pork Chops: Season both sides of the pork chops generously with salt and black pepper. Allow them to sit at room temperature for about 15 minutes.

Sear the Pork Chops: In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the pork chops to the skillet and sear them for about 4-5 minutes on each side until they are golden brown and cooked through (the internal temperature should reach 145°F (63°C)). Remove the pork chops from the skillet and set aside.

Make the Cream Sauce: In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium and add the butter. Once melted, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.

Add the Cream and Seasonings: Pour in the heavy cream and stir to combine with the garlic. Add the Dijon mustard, dried thyme, and dried rosemary. Bring the mixture to a gentle simmer.

Incorporate the Cheese: Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and continue simmering for another 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.

Combine Pork Chops with Sauce: Return the pork chops to the skillet, spooning the creamy sauce over them. Let them cook together for an additional 2 minutes to reheat the chops and allow them to soak up some of the sauce.

Serve: Plate the pork chops and drizzle with the creamy sauce. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve with lemon wedges on the side.
