Ingredients

1 lb ground beef (preferably grass-fed)

4 cups broccoli florets (fresh or frozen)

1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded

3 tablespoons butter

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

Salt and pepper to taste

1/4 cup beef broth (or chicken broth)

2 tablespoons olive oil

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Sauté Vegetables: In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the broccoli florets and sauté for about 4-5 minutes until they are bright green and slightly tender. Remove from skillet and set aside.

Cook Ground Beef: In the same skillet, add butter and then the ground beef. Break it apart with a spatula and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess grease if necessary.

Add Aromatics: Once the beef is browned, add minced garlic, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Stir well and cook for another 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

Combine Ingredients: Pour in the beef broth and return the sautéed broccoli to the skillet. Stir everything together and let it cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.

Cheesy Finish: Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the skillet. Cover with a lid and cook on low heat for 2-3 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Serve and Garnish: Remove from heat, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve hot.
