Ingredients

1 lb ground chicken

2 cups broccoli florets

3 tablespoons honey

2 tablespoons sriracha sauce

2 tablespoons soy sauce (low-sodium recommended)

1 tablespoon sesame oil

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon fresh ginger, minced

1 tablespoon vegetable oil (for cooking)

1 tablespoon sesame seeds (for garnish)

2 green onions, sliced (for garnish)

Salt and pepper to taste

Cooked rice or quinoa (for serving)

Instructions

Prepare the Sauce: In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, sriracha, soy sauce, and sesame oil until well combined. Set aside.

Cook the Chicken: In a large skillet or wok, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Add the minced garlic and ginger, and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.

Add Ground Chicken: Increase the heat to high and add the ground chicken to the skillet. Break it apart with a spoon and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.

Add Broccoli: Stir in the broccoli florets and pour the sauce over the chicken and broccoli mixture. Stir well to combine, ensuring the broccoli is coated in the sauce.

Cook until Tender: Cover the skillet and let it cook on medium heat for an additional 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the broccoli is bright green and tender-crisp.

Final Touches: Remove from heat and garnish with sesame seeds and sliced green onions.

Serve: Serve the sweet and spicy honey sriracha ground chicken and broccoli over a bed of cooked rice or quinoa.
