Ingredients

1 lb flank steak, thinly sliced against the grain

1/2 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined

2 cups broccoli florets

1 bell pepper, sliced (any color)

1 cup snap peas

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 inch piece ginger, grated

1 tablespoon soy sauce (low-sodium)

1 tablespoon oyster sauce

1 tablespoon cornstarch

1 tablespoon sesame oil

2 tablespoons olive oil

Salt and pepper to taste

Cooked brown rice or quinoa, for serving

Green onions and sesame seeds, for garnish

Instructions

Marinate the Steak: In a bowl, combine the sliced flank steak with soy sauce, oyster sauce, cornstarch, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Mix well and let it marinate for at least 15 minutes to enhance flavor and tenderness.

Cook the Shrimp: In a large pan or wok, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes, until pink and opaque. Remove the shrimp from the pan and set aside.

Sauté Vegetables: In the same pan, add another tablespoon of olive oil. Add the minced garlic and grated ginger, stirring for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Then, add the broccoli, bell pepper, and snap peas. Stir-fry for about 4-5 minutes, or until the vegetables are vibrant and crisp-tender.

Cook the Steak: Push the vegetables to the side of the pan and add the marinated steak. Cook for 3-4 minutes, stirring frequently, until the steak is browned and cooked to your preference.

Combine Shrimp and Toss: Return the shrimp to the pan and mix everything together. Drizzle with sesame oil and stir for another minute to combine all flavors.

Serve: Serve the steak and shrimp stir-fry over cooked brown rice or quinoa. Garnish with sliced green onions and a sprinkle of sesame seeds.
