Ingredients

4 boneless, skinless chicken thighs

4 tablespoons unsalted butter

6 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves (or 1/3 teaspoon dried thyme)

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

Salt and pepper to taste

1 tablespoon honey

1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice

2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)

1 lemon, sliced (for serving)

Instructions

Prep the Chicken: Season the chicken thighs generously with salt, pepper, and smoked paprika on both sides. Set aside to enhance the flavors.

Melt the Butter: In a large skillet over medium heat, melt 2 tablespoons of the butter until bubbling.

Sauté the Garlic: Add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant, being careful not to let it burn.

Cook the Chicken: Increase the heat to medium-high. Add the seasoned chicken thighs to the skillet. Cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until the chicken is golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F/75°C).

Make the Sauce: Reduce the heat to low. Stir in the remaining butter, honey, lemon juice, and thyme. Let it simmer for a few minutes until the sauce is bubbly and thickened slightly.

Coat the Chicken: Drizzle the garlic butter sauce over the chicken thighs, ensuring they are well coated. Cook for another minute to infuse the flavors.

Garnish and Serve: Remove from heat. Transfer the chicken to a serving plate and drizzle with any remaining sauce from the skillet. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve with lemon slices.
