4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

1 cup shredded Parmesan cheese

1 cup plain breadcrumbs

4 cloves garlic, minced

1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 teaspoon dried Italian herbs (basil, oregano, thyme blend)

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Lemon wedges (for serving)

Instructions
 

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and grease a 9x13 inch baking dish with a little olive oil.

    Prepare the Coating: In a medium bowl, mix together the breadcrumbs, minced garlic, Parmesan cheese, Italian herbs, salt, and pepper. This will be the coating for the chicken.

      Prepare the Chicken: Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels and season both sides with salt and pepper.

        Butter Mixture: In a separate small bowl, mix the melted butter with the remaining olive oil.

          Coat the Chicken: Dip each chicken breast into the butter mixture, allowing any excess to drip off, then coat it thoroughly in the breadcrumb and cheese mixture. Press gently to adhere the coating to the chicken.

            Arrange in Baking Dish: Place the coated chicken breasts in the prepared baking dish.

              Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 25–30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the coating is golden brown and crispy.

                Garnish: Once done, remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes. Garnish with fresh chopped parsley and serve with lemon wedges on the side.
