1 lb ground chicken

1 cup fresh spinach, finely chopped

1/2 cup white cheddar cheese, shredded

1/4 cup breadcrumbs (preferably panko)

1 small onion, finely chopped

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 egg

1 tsp Dijon mustard

1/2 tsp salt

1/4 tsp black pepper

1/4 tsp smoked paprika (optional)

Olive oil for cooking

Burger buns

Lettuce, tomato, and any other desired toppings

Instructions
 

Prepare the Mixture: In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground chicken, finely chopped spinach, shredded white cheddar cheese, breadcrumbs, chopped onion, minced garlic, egg, Dijon mustard, salt, pepper, and smoked paprika if using. Mix well until all ingredients are thoroughly combined.

    Shape the Patties: Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape each portion into a patty, ensuring they are about 1 inch thick.

      Cook the Patties: Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add a drizzle of olive oil. Once hot, add the chicken patties. Cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C) and the patties are golden brown.

        Toast the Buns: While the patties are cooking, you can toast the burger buns in an oven or on a skillet until golden brown.

          Assemble the Burgers: Place each cooked chicken patty on a toasted bun, adding lettuce, tomato, and any additional toppings you prefer.
