Easy Apricot Ginger Steakhouse Pork Chops

This easy apricot ginger steakhouse pork chops is a simple dinner recipe made with everyday ingredients. Perfect for busy days and family meals.

Ingredients

4 bone-in pork chops (1-inch thick)

1 cup apricot preserves

2 tablespoons fresh ginger, grated

2 tablespoons soy sauce

1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

Salt and pepper to taste

2 tablespoons olive oil

Fresh chives or parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

In a medium bowl, combine the apricot preserves, grated ginger, soy sauce, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well to create a marinade.

Place the pork chops in a large resealable plastic bag or a shallow dish. Pour the marinade over the pork chops, ensuring they are well-coated. Seal the bag or cover the dish, and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes or up to 4 hours for more flavor.

Preheat your grill or grill pan to medium-high heat. Brush the grill grates with olive oil to prevent sticking.

Remove the pork chops from the marinade, allowing any excess marinade to drip off. Reserve the marinade for basting.

Place the pork chops on the hot grill and cook for about 5-7 minutes on one side. Baste with the reserved marinade during cooking.

Flip the pork chops and continue grilling for another 5-7 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C).

Remove the pork chops from the grill and let them rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Garnish with freshly chopped chives or parsley, if desired, and serve with your choice of sides.
