Ingredients
  

  • 200 grams kataifi pastry thawed
  • 150 grams dark chocolate chopped
  • 100 grams unsalted pistachios finely chopped
  • 50 grams butter melted
  • 3 tablespoons honey for sweetness
  • 1 teaspoon ground cardamom for flavor
  • 1 pinch sea salt to enhance flavor
  • 2 tablespoons pistachio oil for drizzling
  • 50 grams white chocolate for drizzling on top

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F). In a mixing bowl, combine the thawed kataifi pastry with melted butter, honey, ground cardamom, and a pinch of sea salt. Toss until the pastry is well coated.
  • Spread half of the kataifi mixture evenly in a greased baking dish, pressing it down firmly. Bake for 15 minutes until golden and crispy. Remove from oven and let it cool slightly.
  • Meanwhile, melt the dark chocolate in a microwave or double boiler. Once melted, mix in the finely chopped pistachios until well combined.
  • Pour the chocolate-pistachio mixture over the baked kataifi layer, spreading it evenly. Top with the remaining kataifi mixture, pressing it down gently.
  • Return the dish to the oven and bake for an additional 10 minutes until the top layer is golden brown. Remove and let it cool completely.
  • Melt the white chocolate and drizzle it over the cooled dessert along with pistachio oil for added flavor. Allow it to set for a few minutes.
  • Cut the dessert into bars and serve. Enjoy the delightful layers of chocolate and pistachio in every bite!
