Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups seedless cucumber peeled and chopped
  • 1 cup fresh mint leaves loosely packed
  • 1 cup fresh lime juice about 4-5 limes
  • 1/2 cup simple syrup adjust sweetness to taste
  • 2 cups crushed ice for slushie texture
  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt to enhance flavor
  • 1 cup sparkling water for added fizz
  • additional mint leaves for garnish

Instructions
 

  • In a blender, combine the peeled and chopped cucumber, fresh mint leaves, fresh lime juice, and simple syrup. Blend until smooth.
  • Add the crushed ice to the blender and blend again until the mixture reaches a slushie consistency.
  • Taste the slushie and adjust sweetness by adding more simple syrup if necessary. Blend briefly to mix.
  • Pour the slushie into chilled glasses and top each glass with a splash of sparkling water for some fizz.
  • Garnish with additional mint leaves on top for an aromatic touch and serve immediately.

Notes

Tip 1: For a sweeter slushie, use flavored syrup like agave or honey.
Tip 2: This slushie can be made ahead and stored in the freezer, but blend again before serving for a fresh texture.
