4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

1 cup all-purpose flour

2 large eggs

1 cup panko breadcrumbs

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

1 teaspoon salt

½ teaspoon black pepper

¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper (adjust to taste)

1 cup crumbled feta cheese

¼ cup honey

2 tablespoons olive oil

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

    Prepare the Chicken: Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels. This ensures better browning and crispiness.

      Set Up Breading Station: In three separate shallow dishes, prepare the breading station:

        - In the first dish, add the flour seasoned with ½ teaspoon salt and ¼ teaspoon pepper.

          - In the second dish, beat the eggs together.

            - In the third dish, mix the panko breadcrumbs with garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, pepper, and cayenne pepper.

              Bread the Chicken: Dredge each chicken breast first in the seasoned flour, shaking off excess. Then dip in the beaten eggs, allowing excess to drip off. Finally, coat thoroughly with the seasoned panko, pressing it onto the chicken to adhere well.

                Cook Chicken: In a large skillet over medium heat, warm 2 tablespoons of olive oil. Once hot, add the breaded chicken breasts (working in batches if necessary) and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and crispy. Transfer the chicken to the prepared baking sheet.

                  Bake: Once all chicken is browned, bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the chicken reaches a minimum internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).

                    Make Hot Honey Feta Topping: While the chicken bakes, combine the crumbled feta and honey in a small bowl. Stir until creamy. If desired, you can warm this mixture slightly in the microwave to make it easier to drizzle.

                      Serve: Once the chicken is cooked through, remove from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes. Drizzle the hot honey feta mixture generously over the top, and garnish with fresh parsley. Serve with lemon wedges on the side for a refreshing touch.
