1 pound fresh green beans, trimmed

3 tablespoons olive oil

4 cloves garlic, minced

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional for a kick)

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish, optional)

Instructions
 

Preheat the Oven: Begin by preheating your oven to 425°F (220°C).

    Prepare the Green Beans: Wash and trim the fresh green beans, ensuring they are all roughly the same size for even cooking.

      Mix Oil and Seasonings: In a large bowl, combine the olive oil, minced garlic, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and red pepper flakes (if using). Stir until well combined.

        Coat the Green Beans: Add the trimmed green beans to the bowl and toss them in the garlic oil mixture until they are evenly coated.

          Add Parmesan Cheese: Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese over the green beans and toss again until the beans are well coated with cheese.

            Arrange on Baking Sheet: Spread the seasoned green beans out in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or lightly greased.

              Roast in the Oven: Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and roast for 15-20 minutes, or until the green beans are crispy and golden brown. Shake the pan halfway through roasting to ensure even cooking.
