1 cup cooked sweet potato, cooled and mashed

1 ripe banana, frozen

1 cup unsweetened almond milk (or any milk of choice)

1/4 cup plain Greek yogurt (optional for creaminess)

2 tablespoons maple syrup (adjust to taste)

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg

Pinch of salt

1/2 cup ice (optional for a colder smoothie)

Instructions
 

In a blender, combine the mashed sweet potato, frozen banana, almond milk, Greek yogurt (if using), maple syrup, and vanilla extract.

    Add the ground cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt. Blend until the mixture is smooth and creamy. If the smoothie is too thick, add more almond milk until you reach your desired consistency.
