8 oz twisted pasta (such as fusilli or cavatappi)

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1/4 cup cream cheese, softened

2 tbsp olive oil

1 tsp Italian seasoning

1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)

Salt and pepper, to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish

Instructions
 

Cook the Pasta: In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook the twisted pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

    Prepare the Garlic: In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 2 minutes until fragrant but not browned.

      Mix the Cheese: Reduce the heat to low. Add the cream cheese to the skillet and stir until melted. Then, gradually incorporate the shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan cheese, stirring until creamy and smooth.

        Combine Pasta and Sauce: Add the drained pasta to the skillet with the cheesy garlic sauce. Toss until the pasta is well-coated. Sprinkle in the Italian seasoning, red pepper flakes (if using), and season with salt and pepper to taste.

          Serve: Remove from heat and transfer the cheesy garlic twisted pasta to a serving dish. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
