Ingredients
  

  • 4 cups filtered water for mixing
  • 2 tablespoons activated charcoal powder food-grade
  • 1/2 cup fresh lemon juice about 4-6 lemons
  • 1/4 cup agave syrup or honey
  • 1 cup sparkling water for carbonation
  • 1/4 teaspoon sea salt to enhance flavor
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract for added depth
  • 1 cup ice cubes for serving
  • 1 lemon slices for garnish

Instructions
 

  • In a large pitcher, combine 4 cups of filtered water and 2 tablespoons of activated charcoal powder. Stir well until the charcoal is fully dissolved.
  • Add 1/2 cup of freshly squeezed lemon juice and 1/4 cup of agave syrup to the pitcher. Mix thoroughly to incorporate all ingredients.
  • Taste the mixture and adjust sweetness by adding more agave syrup if desired. Then, add 1/4 teaspoon of sea salt and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract, stirring again.
  • Chill the lemonade in the refrigerator for 20 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
  • Once chilled, add 1 cup of sparkling water to the pitcher. Stir gently to combine, being careful not to lose the carbonation.
  • Serve the charcoal lemonade over ice cubes in glasses. Garnish with lemon slices for an extra touch.
