Ingredients

1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough

1 cup cream cheese, softened

1/3 cup powdered sugar

1 tsp vanilla extract

1/2 cup fresh blueberries (plus more for topping)

1 tbsp lemon juice

1 egg (for egg wash)

Zest of 1 lemon

Optional: whipped cream for serving

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, lemon juice, and lemon zest. Mix until smooth and well combined.

Gently fold in the fresh blueberries, being careful not to crush them.

Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into individual triangles.

Place about a tablespoon of the cream cheese mixture at the wide end of each crescent triangle.

Carefully roll up each triangle, starting from the wide end and rolling toward the point. Pinch the edges to seal and slightly bend the ends to form a crescent shape.

Beat the egg in a small bowl and brush the egg wash over each of the crescent rolls for a golden finish.

Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until the rolls are golden brown.

Remove from the oven and allow them to cool slightly before serving. Top with additional blueberries if desired and a dollop of whipped cream for an extra treat.
