Ingredients

8 oz (about 2 cups) rotini pasta

1 cup cooked shrimp, chopped (or frozen, thawed)

1 cup cooked crab meat, shredded (or imitation crab)

1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved

1/2 cup celery, diced

1/2 cup red onion, finely chopped

1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped

1/2 cup mayonnaise

1/4 cup sour cream

1 tbsp Dijon mustard

1 tsp lemon juice

Salt and pepper to taste

1 tsp Old Bay seasoning (optional)

1/4 cup capers, rinsed and drained

Instructions

Cook the rotini pasta in a large pot of salted boiling water according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and rinse under cold water to cool it down.

In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked shrimp, crab meat, cherry tomatoes, celery, red onion, and parsley. Toss gently to mix.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, sour cream, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, salt, pepper, and Old Bay seasoning until smooth.

Add the cooled pasta to the seafood and vegetable mixture. Pour the dressing over the pasta and fold everything together gently until well combined.

Add in the capers and fold them in. Taste and adjust the seasoning if needed.

Cover the salad and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to meld together.

Serve chilled, garnishing with extra parsley or lemon wedges if desired.
