Ingredients

1 pound chicken tenders

1 cup buttermilk

1 cup all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon paprika

1 teaspoon salt

½ teaspoon black pepper

½ teaspoon cayenne pepper (adjust to taste)

1 tablespoon vegetable oil (for frying)

1 cup mayonnaise

2 tablespoons sweet chili sauce

1 tablespoon sriracha (or to taste)

12 slider buns

1 cup shredded lettuce

1 cup sliced cucumbers

Fresh cilantro for garnish

Instructions

Marinate the Chicken: In a bowl, combine chicken tenders and buttermilk. Let it marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to 2 hours for the best flavor and tenderness.

Prepare the Breading: In a shallow dish, whisk together flour, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper. This will be your breading mix.

Coat the Chicken: Remove the chicken from the buttermilk, allowing any excess to drip off. Dredge the chicken tenders in the seasoned flour mixture, ensuring they are fully coated.

Fry the Chicken: Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the breaded chicken tenders in batches, ensuring not to overcrowd the pan. Fry for about 3-4 minutes on each side or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and drain on paper towels.

Make the Bang Bang Sauce: In a separate bowl, combine mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, and sriracha. Adjust the sriracha to your desired spiciness.

Assemble the Sliders: Slice the slider buns in half. Spread a generous amount of the Bang Bang sauce on the bottom half of each bun. Place a crispy chicken tender on top, add a handful of shredded lettuce, a few cucumber slices, and garnish with fresh cilantro.

Finish and Serve: Place the top half of the bun on each slider. Serve the Bang Bang Chicken Sliders immediately with extra sauce on the side for dipping!
