Spicy Air Fryer Buffalo Cauliflower is a versatile dish that can be enjoyed in various ways. Traditionally, buffalo cauliflower is often served with celery sticks and a side of blue cheese dressing, which provides a refreshing contrast to the heat of the dish. The crispness of the celery adds a satisfying crunch, while the creamy blue cheese dressing complements the spicy flavors beautifully. If blue cheese isn't your preference, consider offering alternative dips such as ranch dressing, garlic aioli, or even a tangy yogurt sauce. For those looking to keep it plant-based, a cashew cream sauce or tahini dressing can also serve as excellent accompaniments.

Ingredients

1 medium head of cauliflower, cut into florets

1 cup all-purpose flour (or gluten-free flour)

1 cup water

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1 cup buffalo sauce (store-bought or homemade)

2 tablespoons olive oil

Fresh celery sticks and blue cheese dressing for serving (optional)

Instructions

Prepare the Cauliflower: Begin by washing the cauliflower and cutting it into bite-sized florets. Pat them dry with a kitchen towel to remove excess moisture.

Make the Batter: In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, water, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper until you have a smooth batter.

Coat the Cauliflower: Dip each cauliflower floret into the batter, ensuring it's evenly coated. Allow any excess batter to drip off before placing the florets in the air fryer basket.

Air Fry the Cauliflower: Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C). Arrange the coated cauliflower florets in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Spray or drizzle with olive oil. Air fry for 10-12 minutes until they are golden and crispy. Shake the basket halfway through for even cooking.

Buffalo Sauce Coating: In a large bowl, toss the air-fried cauliflower with buffalo sauce until well-coated. If you prefer your cauliflower spicier, feel free to add more sauce!

Final Air Frying: Return the coated cauliflower to the air fryer and cook for an additional 5 minutes at 400°F (200°C) to crisp up the buffalo sauce.

Serve: Once done, remove from the air fryer and serve immediately with celery sticks and blue cheese dressing, if desired.

                Prep Time: 15 min | Total Time: 30 min | Servings: 4
