Ingredients

  • 2 cups cream cheese softened at room temperature
  • 1 cup granulated sugar for sweetness
  • 3 large eggs at room temperature
  • 1 cup heavy cream for creaminess
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract for flavor
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt to enhance flavor

Instructions

  • Preheat your air fryer to 320°F (160°C). In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and granulated sugar. Beat together until smooth and creamy, ensuring there are no lumps.
  • Add the eggs one at a time to the cream cheese mixture, beating well after each addition. Then, pour in the heavy cream and vanilla extract. Mix until fully combined and the batter is smooth.
  • Prepare a 7-inch (18 cm) round cake pan with parchment paper lining the bottom and sides. Pour the cheesecake batter into the prepared pan, smoothing the top with a spatula.
  • Place the cake pan in the preheated air fryer basket and cook for 25 minutes. The cheesecake should be slightly jiggly in the center when done, with a deep golden top.
  • Once cooked, carefully remove the cheesecake from the air fryer and let it cool at room temperature for about 10 minutes. Then, transfer it to the refrigerator to chill for at least 2 hours before serving.
  • Serve the cheesecake chilled, optionally garnishing with fresh berries or a drizzle of caramel sauce for added flavor.

Notes

Tip 1: Ensure the cream cheese is well softened to avoid lumps in the batter.
Tip 2: This cheesecake can be made a day ahead and stored in the refrigerator.
Variation: Add a swirl of fruit puree on top before cooking for a fruity twist.
