Ingredients

  • 8 ounces fettuccine pasta cooked according to package instructions
  • 1 pound boneless chicken thighs sliced into strips
  • 2 tablespoons gochujang Korean chili paste
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese plus more for serving
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil for cooking chicken
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper freshly ground
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt to taste

Instructions

  • In a large pot, boil water and cook the fettuccine pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  • In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the sliced chicken thighs and season with salt and black pepper. Cook for about 5-7 minutes or until the chicken is browned and cooked through.
  • Add minced garlic to the skillet and sautĂ© for an additional 1-2 minutes until fragrant. Stir in the gochujang and soy sauce, mixing well to coat the chicken.
  • Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Add the grated Parmesan cheese and stir until melted and creamy, adjusting seasoning with salt and pepper as needed.
  • Combine the cooked fettuccine with the sauce in the skillet, tossing to coat the pasta evenly with the delicious gochujang Alfredo sauce.
  • Serve immediately, garnished with additional grated Parmesan cheese and a sprinkle of black pepper if desired.

Tip 1: For extra flavor, marinate the chicken in gochujang and soy sauce for 30 minutes before cooking.
